Here Are Your 5 Doritos 'Crash the Super Bowl' Finalists (Adfreak)

Subtly clever, sublimely crafted storytelling that tenderly tickles the funny
bone, delights the intellect and pokes gentle fun at our everyday follies and
foibles. You'll find none of that among the five finalists in Doritos's sixth
annual Crash the Super Bowl contest for user-generated ads. As usual, asinine
antics and broad buffoonery reign supreme. Two of the spots will air during
the Super Bowl XLVI broadcast, but only the top vote getter (by Jan. 29) will
earn its maker a cool $1 million and a contract to work on a second commercial
with production team The Lonely Island. Perhaps inspired by last year's grand-
prize winning "Pug Attack," pooches play key roles in three of this year's
finalists, although of course the contest generates mostly dogs every year.
(Ha ha! Subtle.) Check out all five spots after the jump. Each is amusingly
stupid, but three really stood out for me. "Bird of Prey" amuses with its
office drone going insanely aviary (flapping his arms, cawing and pecking)
when Doritos are nearby. Reminds me of my own demeanor in the workplace. The
doofus dudes in "Hot Wild Girls" are well cast, their bro-banter is
righteously inane ...

Memorial Day Weekend with Kids in Las Vegas by Jamie Baker

Memorial Day Weekend is fast approaching. If you're planning to unwind with your kids, you may want to have a Las Vegas family vacation.

Contrary to popular belief, Las Vegas is not only for gambling, adult entertainment and wild parties. It is rapidly becoming one of the favourite family destinations in the US. Last year more than five million families with kids had a Las Vegas family vacation.

One of the top Las Vegas kids' attractions, especially if you are planning to stay on the Strip, is the Amusement Parks.

On top of the list is Adventuredome Theme Park located at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino. This is a wild ride that will bring out the adventurous spirit in kids and kids at heart. Don't miss the rides such as Canyon Blaster, Rim Runner, Sling Shot, Chaos, Inverter, Lazer Blast, and SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D Ride. There is also a free clown in case you want to just relax and go for laughs. Thrill Rides at the Stratosphere is another stop that you should include in your Las Vegas family vacation. Your children will simply shout out for more when they experience Big Shot, X-Scream and Insanity, the Ride. Imagine being propelled 27 feet over the edge of the tower. The experience wouldn't be forgotten for a long time. You can also take family photos at the Tower Shops where Paris, Hong Kong and New York themed streets are found in one place. And if sightseeing is what you want, the Observation Deck is the best place to be. It is the tallest free-standing observation tower in the US that kids in Las Vegas should experience and see.

Las Vegas family vacation means non-stop fun. It would be a great idea to visit Gameworks if absolute fun is what you want. This is a place for technological entertainment (a haven for gamers as the name suggests), and fabulous food as well. If you want to play arcade games with your kids in Las Vegas and have a full stomach, your choices are almost endless.

No Las Vegas family vacation will be complete without visiting the arcades. New York-New York Hotel & Casino, reminiscent of New York City, should be on your top list. The Coney Island Emporium boasts more than 200 coin-operated arcade games and midway-style carnival games - a fantastic way to bond with your kids and at the same time, let out the kid in you. Sounds fun? If these arcade games seem not enough for parents and kids quality time, visit The Roller Coaster nearby. The roller coaster cars are designed as NYC cabs. But what makes them special more than the usual NYC cab ride is that, only these cars can go as high as 203 feet.

There are many more attractions to see in this enchanted place. One long weekend is simply not enough to enjoy time with your kids in Las Vegas. When you experience the fun here, taking another Las Vegas family vacation will be inevitable. Now look for other long weekend holiday, mark your calendar and plan your next visit with your kids in Las Vegas.
